Augostino is a seasoned investment executive with over 20 years’ experience in institutional investing, corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions across global markets. As Group CIO of Zahid Group, he leads the Investment Division with responsibility for group strategy, corporate development, M&A, and financial advisory. His experience spans private equity, real estate, and infrastructure, with a strong track record in executing complex cross-border transactions, leveraged buyouts, and strategic partnerships.

Previously, he served as Group Chief Investment & Strategy Officer at Imkan (Abu Dhabi Capital Group) and at United Real Estate Company (KIPCO Group), where he managed multibillion-dollar portfolios and led capital markets, project finance, and turnaround initiatives.

He holds directorships and board committee roles internationally, including serving as a Board Member and Audit Committee Chairman of Barloworld Limited (JSE: BAW). He is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.
