Sibani is the Director of Luvivi Governance Services. Between 2005 and 2015, he served in various positions in the Barloworld Group, including as Group Executive: Corporate Affairs.

Sibani worked in corporate finance at JP Morgan, Cazenove and Merrill Lynch. He is a qualified lawyer specialising in banking and finance, and oil and gas. He is a Fellow of Chartered Secretaries Southern Africa and the Institute of Directors Southern Africa. He is a Fellow from the fourth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative for South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
