Syndey is the co-founder of Tamela Holdings (Pty) Ltd. He has over 25 years of experience in investment banking, specifically corporate finance, leveraged finance and investment management. He leads Tamela’s mezzanine investment activities across sectors and is a member of the firm’s investment committee. Prior to the founding of Tamela Holdings in 2008, he was a co-founder and a Chief Investment Officer of Makalani Holdings Limited. He was previously the co-head of acquisition finance team at Standard Bank.
