Matome serves as a Non-Executive Director and has wealth of experience as an HR Executive/Director in large multinationals, public and academic organisations such as Group Five Limited; Anglo American Platinum; BHP Billiton; Foskor Limited; Legal Aid South Africa and University of Limpopo.

He has a solid background in the mining, construction, chemical industries, public entities and academic institutions. Matome served as a Trustee of the Foskor Retirement Funds; Managing Executive of Foskor’s Palfos Aviation; Board Member of Group Five Civil Engineering Division and a Non-Executive Director of Legal Aid South Africa.

Matome holds a Bachelor of Administration Degree from the University of Limpopo, BA Honours Degree in HRD from the University of Johannesburg. He also completed the Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Cape Town, amongst other executive programmes.
