ESG Summary Report
We aim to create value responsibly and sustainably
Brand ambassadors
We adopt a people-centred approach in doing business, primarily focused on the safety and well-being of our employees.
Communities
We deliberately seek to make a positive, long-lasting difference in the communities in which we operate.
Environment
We understand the adverse effects of climate change and water shortages and take meaningful actions to responsibly reduce our environmental footprint.
Governance
We are governed by the highest standards and are overseen by an independent Board of Directors.
Environmental
We acknowledge several environmental impacts, such as greenhouse gas emissions, that stem from our operations.
Our policies on climate change, energy efficiency, water use and management, and waste management are aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and continue to be strengthened as we identify emerging risks and other environmental factors.
We have longstanding relationships with original equipment manufacturers and have rolled out hybrid and electric vehicle solutions across our business. This enables our customers to meet their corporate responsibility aspirations and reduce their carbon footprint. We are well placed to scale our electric and hybrid vehicle fleet in response to growing demand.
Water management
Our efforts include:
- The installation of water recycling facilities at all our wash-bay facilities, with a material percentage of the used water recycled.
- The expansion of the borehole installations across all key sites.
- Installation of 19 rainwater harvesting systems across various facilities.
- Implementing waterless car washing at selected sites
Waste management
- We aim to reduce our waste footprint by 25% by 2030.
Carbon footprint
- We aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035.
- We are working to lower our Scope 1 and 2 emissions while strengthening our internal process for measuring and reducing Scope 3 emissions.
- We have electric charging stations at our biggest sites.
Social
We have adopted a zero-harm approach to enhance employee, customer and community wellbeing and safety.
We contribute to a better society through ongoing investments in education, youth development and empowerment, and humanitarian programmes. We encourage our employees to contribute their time and talent to support their local communities.
